The Faculty of Computer Sciences and Information Technology at The ORBIT Institute is aimed at to be the home of multidisciplinary practice and academic clusters that deals with issues and recent and emerging trends in information technology. The main goal is to provide a high degree program in Computer Sciences and Information Technology, a program that prepares students for lifelong learning as they take on professional careers in computing and information technology.
The Faculty of Computer Sciences and Information Technology will offer a four-year program leading to a BS degree in Information Technology. The specialization is determined by the choice of required and elective courses taken by a student. The proposed programs are designed to meet the growing need for computer science & IT experts in the rapidly evolving 21st century economy. The main objective of this program is to provide graduates with a strong information technology base that will enable them to capitalize on the increasing career opportunities in the information technology sector, to expand the limits of their knowledge by pursuing further studies, and to explore innovative approaches to computer or information technology related problems. These specializations provide highly demanded expertise, a great mobility and flexibility, and an impressive range of possible career choices in the IT industry.
