The Academic Counseling Center at The ORBIT Institute helps its students to design an academic path that boosts their potential. Walk-in advising sessions are offered to students who are facing academic difficulty, need assistance for understanding their academic audit and want to ensure they are fulfilling their degree programs according to their academic requirements.

The ORBIT Institute has a multi-disciplinary library serving the faculty, students, researchers and staff of the Institute. The library has a rich and diverse collection of reading material which is ideally suited to encourage and support both scholarly pursuits and practical research activities.

The library has an extensive collection of printed and online books, journals, and other materials including audios, videos, CD-ROMs, DVDs, etc. Our mission is to excel in supporting the academic and scholarly endeavor of our users, in their core instructional and research requirements through utilizing the best possible resources, systems and services.

Following Use & Conduct Policies are applicable to all library users and are enforceable by all library staff.

• General Behavior: users are expected to respect other users and library staff.
• Disruptive activity or any behavior interfering with ordinary library use or operation, likely to endanger others, or those other patrons might reasonably find disruptive is not permitted.
• Interfering with a library employee’s performance of duties, including through verbal abuse, intimidation, or any type of harassment is not permitted

Our Computer Labs are well equipped with sufficient number of computers provided with UPS power Back-up. 50mbps board line internet connection, antivirus software, firewall protection etc. These services include provision of login accounts, unlimited internet access of bandwidth access to HEC digital resources, secure data storage, software applications and development tools, open source support, low cost laser printing, scanning and CD/DVD writing, Wi-Fi (Wireless Connectivity), and support and assistance by highly qualified, skilled and cooperative IT Professionals.

The institute building has an impressive structure – houses main reception and security office, classrooms are designed and equipped with modern facilities like complete terminals with internet, LCD, OHP slide, projects and public address system. These classrooms are spacious enough, well lit, well ventilated and accommodated with comfortable seating.

To release the academic burden, sports have becoming vital part of extracurricular activities at The ORBIT Institute. We offer following sports: badminton, basketball, cricket, volleyball, hockey, soccer and table tennis.

A sports day is also held during each semester where students from all the departments participate in different sports. Students can also take an active part in inter-collegiate tournaments, national and international tournaments such as Cricket, Badminton, Tug-of-War and Table Tennis held outside the campus.

The girls’ common room is fully air conditioned and furnished with all necessary things to provide a relaxing environment for the female students including prayer area.

The ORBIT Institute cafeteria is the perfect place for students to chill out with their friends after stimulating lectures. The menu consists of a variety of snacks, fresh juices, shakes, tea and coffee.

The ORBIT Institute lawn provides a relaxing place to sit and hang out with your friends. Sports and events are also arranged in this lawn.
